Allison was a great model. Pretty soon, we had most of the body done! The most difficult area of the body was definitely the upper torso.

Once the life cast was finished and we got the approval to paint her in the painting room, we named her Felice. Felic the Longboarder.

After experimenting with paint and design, Allison and I had help from Jon transporting Felice to the pavilion to be painted. Transporting eventually took a toll on her strength and we later had to reinforce her with more tape.

Pictured above is our experimentation with a "street look" for our longboarder using various hues of acrylic paint.

We used multi-purpose plastic primer to prepare the surface of the cast for paint.

To give vibrancy to the body, we sprayed over the primer with fluorescent yellow and green spray paint.
Painting Felice proved to be the most difficult aspect of the project, but it was also the most enjoyable.

Allison and I reinforced Felice's entire body with tape before exhibiting her on the longboard.

Audience response was positive! Although we could not place our figure in the originally intended spot, she was quite visible and appreciated. We feel that our theme word of "Moment" was conveyed and the project was an overall success.
